Does a local development domain count toward my license limit?

No. Local and development domains do not count toward your license activation limit.
Common local or staging environments such as localhost, .local, .test, and similar domains are automatically treated as development sites. You can use your Pro license on these environments without consuming one of your production activations. Only live, production domains count toward the license limit.

Do I need to keep the free version installed?

No. The Pro version is a complete, standalone plugin that includes all features from the free version. So there’s no need to keep both installed.

Do I need ACF Pro to use this plugin?

You can use the plugin with either the free or Pro version of Advanced Custom Fields. However, to display fields like Gallery, Repeater, and other advanced types, you’ll need ACF Pro, as those field types are only available in their premium version.
