The Specific {taxonomy} source lets you manually select a taxonomy term and load fields directly from that term.

Similar to Specific Post Type, the available taxonomy sources are generated automatically based on your existing field groups. For example, if a field group is attached to Categories, the field source list will include Specific Category. If another field group is attached to a custom taxonomy such as Product Brand, the plugin will also show Specific Product Brand.

Taxonomies without any attached ACF or SCF field groups will not appear in the available source list.

After selecting the taxonomy source, you can choose the exact term to use. The field picker will then display only the fields attached to that taxonomy.

This source is useful for:

• featured category sections,
• manually curated taxonomy banners,
• navigation panels,
• reusable layouts,
• and fixed term-based content that should remain consistent across pages.

Unlike Current Term, this source does not depend on the currently rendered archive page or frontend context.
